“Opening up your heart to hear this message. Listen from your heart, while you centre in the body through breath… Taking a moment just to centre and be receptive in the body.
Tonight we want to tell you a story, a story about who you are. You are beautiful, brilliant, loved. You are capable of love. You are capable of feeling loved. And you are intelligent beyond your understanding of yourself.
What does it take to nurture yourself? Love.
What does [that] take? It takes honesty.
How could that be so? Because you have learned stories about yourself that aren’t true.
So being loving to yourself requires you to be truthful about what is actually true that you forgot.
The examples would be: You are the most loving person I know. You are the most brilliantly cared about being in the world.
Just think about those things…. If every person thought that, would there be so much pain in the world? Not likely.
We want you to see your healing process as recovering honesty in your heart, spirit and body. Not because someone did a bad job influencing you, because that puts the power of how you feel outside of you… When you have in fact the ability to honour what your experience was previously, and how that may impact you permanently. And you nonetheless have the profound ability for truth-telling.
So on this new moon, we ask you to write a message of truth to yourself.
And try to see as not quite a hope:
“I am beautiful, raw… am ready, I am alluring, I am magnetic.” All these types of things, whatever you resonate with in the heart.
Try to see them as true. Could you?
