FULL STURGEON MOON CEREMONY
An evening to celebrate the medicine of Grandmother Moon in Pisces, and to activate our inner light through the healing practices of Reiki, channeled wisdom, crystal bowl sound healing, African drumming, movement and manifestation exercises.
An evening to honour healthy masculine energy inside us and explore the theme of trusting, valuing and respecting ourselves. What is it to trust yourself and what you feel? How do we communicate lovingly and clearly what we want? So that we move lovingly and fluidly towards our intentions? How would valuing ourselves internally, help us open to abundance and experience flow in our lives? On this full moon in Pisces, we will be embracing the element of water, and I will once again be offering a sacred medicine dance to powerful African drum rhythms.
Come celebrate the full moon like never before! Your body will be tantalized by sacred African rhythms and activated through playful movement. Your soul will be nourished by the healing sounds and channeled wisdom, and you will clarify and claim what is next in your life through a manifestation exercise. Grab your tickets while they last!
The evening will be guided by Energy Medicine Woman, Shelly Burton, who has hosted full moon ceremonies monthly for over two years. She will be supported by the incredible Friday Night Drummers bringing pure African rhythms and soul into the sacred circle. An amazing team of healing practitioners will anchor sacred space which is key to allowing a magical evening to unfold.
Confidentiality will be maintained around what is shared in the group. Sharing about your experience is optional. You can come by yourself or with friends. Both are welcome!

WHY THE FULL MOON?
Full moons are a time when emotions surface to clear. This moon exerts a stronger pull on the waters of the Earth, and raises the tides. We are mostly water, and in many Native American traditions the water is associated with the emotional body. So the full moon is exerting a stronger pull on our emotional body, bringing what needs to clear to surface.

ABOUT THE STURGEON MOON
The Sturgeon Moon was named by many Native American tribes because this is the time when this large and ancient fish was most easily caught from the Great Lakes region. It is also called Full Corn Moon, Full Wheat Moon and Full Blueberry Moon.
FACILITATORS
Shelly Burton
Shelly Burton, Founder of Samhara Energy Medicine™ and Oxford University trained medical anthropologist, will be guiding the ceremony. Shelly's three plus years of running a full-time Reiki practice, and after spending eight years healing a devastating injury, have taught her how to shift your life from the inside out. She is here to help you release old beliefs that have hindered your blossoming, and cross the threshold into your new comforting reality. Dreams can happen. They take time. She's got your back.
Burton holds a Masters in Medical Anthropology from Oxford University and an Honours B.Sc. in Biomedical Science from the University of Guelph. She is a highly sought after practitioner who has hosted workshops at the prestigious Soho Farmhouse in the UK, and has a cast of worldwide clients from New York to Los Angeles, London to Paris.
Friday Night Drummers
Shelly will be supported by three of the incredible Friday Night Drummers, including Goddess Kimberley who is holding down the bass rhythms on the big drums (the dununs) in the clip below! Be prepared to move to their beautiful and intricate West African rhythms. Learn about the history of their rhythms and the significance of drumming in community building for West African cultures.
