FULL MOON Ceremony :: COLD MOON
An evening dedicated to lighting the fires of inner warmth by building trust in yourself.
On this Full Cold Moon, we invite you to join us for an intimate gathering of Sisters. We will commune and share the power of the circle, to unite us in a time when emotions run high and our bodies are calling out for release.
We will be examining how to grow self-respect through consistent trust in who we our being. What is it to truly honour our inner wisdom? What is it to root into the knowing of our worth? How do we respect ourselves and receive the emotional consideration we deserve? Can we have permission to truly trust that we are enough in our work, family, friendships and all other areas of life?
Ladies, it's time to step up and decide we are enough. Feeling put down? You are welcome. Frustrated with feeling unheard? You are welcome. Together we will co-create a supportive space to learn how to step into new levels of awareness, love and honouring. Holding sacred space for each other helps us feel ok. It reminds us that we live in connection with each other, and support is truly there for us. As we anchor into this, the world becomes a friendlier place. Our hearts and courage pave the way for a more inclusive society, something that Mother Earth is calling out for us to build.
Goddesses, will you answer the call? Will you join us in the claim that you are enough?
The evening will be guided by Energy Medicine Woman and Oxford University graduate Shelly Burton. Channeled wisdom, crystal bowl sound healing, drum rhythms and written exercises will steer the journey. Please note that you will have the option to share your experience with the group. Confidentiality is absolutely respected.
WHY THE FULL MOON?
Full moons are a time when emotions surface to clear. This moon exerts a stronger pull on the waters of the Earth, and raises the tides. We are mostly water, and in many Native American traditions the water is associated with the emotional body. So the full moon is exerting a stronger pull on our emotional body, bringing what needs to clear to surface.
ABOUT THE COLD MOON
The Cold Moon is traditionally celebrated in Native American culture as a time when the winter nights are at their longest and darkest time. It is a time of cultivating inner warmth, to illuminate the long, cold nights.
