Horses as Healers
Horses are great teachers because they have an innate ability to read body language and emotion in a way that ensures their survival. What does that mean exactly?
Horses offer immediate visual feedback about our emotional state. This makes it easy to talk about emotions, because we can translate into the language of horse behaviour.
Working with horses is an easy way to get comfortable with emotions and to relieve the stressful ones. Horses help clients accept painful feelings and replace them with comforting ones that accompany the rich experience of connection.
Horses also reveal the critical pathway to reaching your goals, by helping you come into emotional resonance with them.

Why the Full Moon?
Full moons are a time when emotions surface to clear. This moon exerts a stronger pull on the waters of the Earth, and raises the tides. We are mostly water, and in many Native American traditions the water is associated with the emotional body. So the full moon is exerting a stronger pull on our emotional body, bringing what needs to clear to surface.

Shelly holds a Masters in Medical Anthropology from Oxford University and an Honours B.Sc. in Biomedical Science from the University of Guelph. Her Samhara Energy Medicine™ system is recognized by the Canadian Examining Board of Healthcare Practitioners, the Canadian Reiki Association, and the City of Toronto. She is a highly sought after practitioner who has hosted workshops at the prestigious Soho Farmhouse in the UK, and has a cast of worldwide clients from New York to Los Angeles, London to Paris.

Relax in a pristine environment, with plenty of quiet space available. The barn has stunning indoor facilities, including an air conditioned lounge.
Adena Springs is located a 55 min drive from Toronto Pearson International Airport. It is accessible by Uber, and a 5 min drive from the Aurora GO station.
